Finance Officer


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with donor’s requirements.
  • Monitor project expenditures against budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines and reporting requirements
  • Prepare financial reports for donors, partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Process Documentation:

  • Help with the documentation of current financial processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for automation or improvement.
  • Develop detailed, step-by-step documentation for future financial processes aligned with the new ERP system.
  • Ensure all documentation is comprehensive, clear, and accessible for training and reference purposes.
  • Regularly update process documentation as changes occur or improvements are made.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Assist with internal and external audits. Ensure that all financial records and documentation are organized and in compliance with JOHUD's policies and donor requirements.

ERP System Management:

  • Use and maintain the ERP system for financial data entry, reporting, and tracking.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance role. Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software. Experience managing financial data and generating reports within an ERP environment.
  • Process Documentation: Experience in documenting and improving financial processes, particularly in relation to ERP implementation.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
