Job description

As a Production Planner at Aptiv, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent communication and coordination with our customers while also managing production planning activities. You will be responsible for processing customer orders, addressing inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize production schedules and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Your role will require strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

To us, nothing is impossible—you will have the autonomy to take ownership of customer interactions and production planning while continuously improving processes. You will report to the PC&L Leader and collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Your Role:

• Manage and process customer orders while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

  
  

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution.

  
  

• Maintain effective communication with internal departments, including supply chain, sales, and production, to meet customer expectations.

  
  

• Monitor order fulfillment status and provide updates to customers proactively.

  
  

• Develop and optimize production schedules to align with customer demand and inventory levels.

  
  

• Identify and escalate any potential issues that may impact customer satisfaction or production efficiency.

  
  

• Assist in improving customer service and production planning processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

  
  

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or a related field.

  
  

• Up to 1 year of experience in customer service, production planning, logistics, or a related field (internship experience is acceptable).

  
  

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  
  

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus).

  
  

• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
