The Linux Systems Engineer position aims to evolve, secure, and standardize Linux platforms in a multi-site and international context as part of the Scalian Group's IT infrastructure evolution and industrialization. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure within the Group IT Department's Systems division.
Main missions:
- Evolve Linux platforms towards market standards.
- Transform and improve the delivery model of Linux environments.
- Develop infrastructure evolution projects within their scope.
- Participate in the industrialization and automation of platforms.
- Maintain Linux environments in operational condition.
- Manage the server lifecycle (installation, configuration, inventory, supervision).
- Support and advise third-party and application teams.
- Handle complex incidents and advanced requests.
- Draft and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
System Security:
- Monitor vulnerabilities and CVEs.
- Deploy security patches.
- Implement and continuously improve Linux server hardening.
- Apply group information system security policies.

Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
- Minimum Bac+2 degree in IT.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a Linux environment.
- Good command of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management).
