OVERVIEW:



The Communications Agent is an integral part of the Front Desk Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after from the start. As the voice of the hotel, the Communications Agent ensures that all communication channels operate flawlessly, including the hotel’s phone and chat system. Communications Agent is responsible forproviding general information about the hotel and assisting callers as well as responding to emergencies connecting the appropriate individuals by phone or radio. 


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:


  • Answers phone & chat inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names when possible and routing calls to proper extensions.


  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with business centre, high-speed Internet service, telephone and facsimile services, hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.


  • Ensure wake up requests are accurately recorded and delivered without fail.


  • Utilizes and ensures proper working condition of the telephone switchboard, the hotel computer systems (e.g. property management, paging and radio systems), high-speed Internet system and facsimile machines.


  • Monitors and responds to hotel fire control panel and emergency and safety situations in an efficient and professional manner.




  • Accepts and delivers wake-up calls, messages and facsimiles in a timely manner.


  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



  • Previous luxury hotel experience preferred.


  • Must have excellent customer service and guest contact skills.


  • Candidates must have a degree in hospitality, or similar.


  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral - are required in English, French, and Arabic.Additional language preferred.


  • You must possess the ability to cope with stress and to work in a high volume operation.


  • You must also be able to multi-task and complete tasks by established deadlines.


  • You must be able to work a flexible schedule (Must be able to work holidays and weekends)





Due to the local work permit policy in the country, we are looking only for candidates with a valid Moroccan Work Permit.
