At DS DeepSource GmbH, we are seeking a Systems Administrator with expertise in vSphere to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our vSphere environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, virtual machines, and vCenter Server.
• Monitor the performance and health of the vSphere environment, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions for vSphere, ensuring data protection and business continuity.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within the vSphere environment.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of the vSphere environment with other systems and applications.
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect the vSphere environment from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in vSphere, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Provide support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the vSphere environment.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
