Position overview:


Reporting directly to the Plant Project & Quality Coordinator, our future PPAP Quality engineer will have as main mission to pilot the quality aspects of the project from the prototype till the post lunch phases. 


Your missions:



  • Review in plant, manufacturing prototype parts and follow up with the customer performance during these prototype phases.

  • Coordinate PPAP process, compile PPAP information and submit PSW on the product estimated date during engineering changes, launches or when required by the customer

  • Participate on process-FMEA

  • Conduct PPAP activities planning and customer specific requirements.

  • Update information on time to Profile

  • Creation of control plan

  • Implement the operator instructions (selfcontrol) for the new projects.

  • Follow the PPAP checklist and the open issues.

  • Fulfill Lear’s Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures

  • Consultation of customer portal or B2B portal

  • Customer's KPI monitoring through B2B/portal or standard communications

  • Project milestones follow up and PPAP validation.

To be successful for this role: 



  •  University degree – Electrical, Industrial Engineering

  •  1-2 years experience

  •  Customer oriented

  • .Detail oriented with organization skills

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

Language Skills:



  • French.

  • English
