Junior Specialist: Quality Assurance - Clinvet Morocco



Clinvet is widely regarded as one of the leading animal health CRO's globally.  An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior Specialist to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team at Clinvet Morocco. Primary Job Purpose



To support the Quality Assurance department with all delegated tasks and activities.


Description of position




  • Ensure compliance to relevant guidelines, Controlled Documents, and study plans/protocols by performing:

    • Study specific audits on the critical phases identified for a study

    • Audits on study plans/protocols and final study reports, including amendments

    • System/facility and process audits as per audit plan

    • Directed audits as requested and delegated by Head of Department: QA



  • Support and/or perform Subcontractor and Outsourced Company evaluations and audits as requested and delegated by Head of Department: QA

  • Prepare and issue audit reports and document findings, observations, and critical findings

  • Perform reviews of Controlled Documents as delegated by Head of Department

  • Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions

  • Manage Controlled Document deviations and Change Control Plans

  • Manage the Master Schedules

  • Execute other tasks and activities as delegated by the Head of Department

  • Support the Head of Department: QA manage timelines

  • Maintain 100% internal training compliance

  • Support and assist the department’s compliance to accreditation, legal and regulatory requirements

  • Observe the correct reporting, remedial and corrective actions to be followed by following set instructions and procedures to report and correct any non-conformance issues

  • Support on QA administrative tasks

  • Act as controlled document liaison by following the instructions:

  • Print the finalized CDs received from CD Administrator

  • Maintain the Distribution list of CDs

  • Distribute the CDs copies (signed, dated and distribution unit added) to the relevant units and remove the previous versions for proper disposal

  • Monitor the maintenance of the CD file in the archive (until all CDs are replaced with electronic signed docs in the Electronic Library) and ensure the CD are retired/replaced by the archivist as applicable

Work Environment




  • The employee is required to:

    • work in an office/laboratory/outdoor environment

    • interact with and handle animals

    • be available for work during normal work hours as well as after-hours according to pre-arranged departmental schedules that may require evening, weekend, and public holiday work



Qualification and Experience requirements




  • DEUG or equivalent qualification in biological science, natural sciences, or management/quality management, or

  • 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role

Specific skills and abilities required




  • Attention to detail



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Outlook, MS Teams, and Office 365

  • Ability to learn new software and systems

  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team

  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Meeting tight deadlines, time management and scheduling

Physical requirements




  • Ability to work the duration of an eight-hour shift, on your feet, in constant motion
