Roles & Responsibilities
As part of the Sherman business transfer, SED Morocco is seeking a Project Management Officer. The Project Management Officer will contribute to the structuring and monitoring of the various transfers, lead the project management routines, consolidate reports for different stakeholders, and ensure the monitoring of risks and action plans. Serving as a cross-functional interface between the business, industrial, and project management teams, the Project Management Officer will support the transfer phases by ensuring efficient organization of activities and smooth communication between the entities involved.
Main tasks:
- Coordinate the activities of the multidisciplinary project team;
- Build, maintain and consolidate schedules using MS Project;
- Ensure the monitoring of project milestones and deliverables;
- Prepare and lead project management routines: Steering Committees, Transfer reviews, coordination meetings, planning reviews, risk reviews;
- Ensure regular reporting to the various internal and external entities;
- Consolidate project performance indicators (planning, risks, actions, costs, workload);
- Identify the risks and propose the associated safety plans;
- Ensure the monitoring of actions and the updating of management tools;
- Participate in the coordination of technical activities related to the different transfers;
- Supporting operational teams in the organization and planning of activities;
- Carry out occasional trips as part of technical missions and transfer phases.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will hold an Engineering degree or equivalent (Master's level) and have proven experience in industrial project management, ideally within the aerospace or manufacturing sector. They will possess strong skills in project management, cross-functional coordination, and the planning of complex activities. They will be proficient in project management tools, particularly MS Project, as well as reporting and KPI tracking tools. Known for their organizational skills, rigor, and analytical abilities, they will thrive in multi-stakeholder environments and manage high-profile projects. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, they will be able to lead project management routines, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure project progress within a demanding industrial context. A professional level of English is required. Occasional international travel may be necessary as part of project activities.
