Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying data ingestion, processing, modeling, and valorization pipelines, so that this data can be restored and visualized through web applications, using modern technologies.

Your main missions:

• Work on Data and Cloud environments, particularly GCP.
• Exploit BigQuery and advanced SQL on large volumes of data.
• Appropriation of new LLM technologies in its development routine
• Manage real-time flows with Pub/Sub.
• Automate data workflows via GitLab CI/CD and Docker Compose.
• Version code with Git.
• Collaborate in an agile environment (Scrum).
• Data modeling and preparation: design optimized pipelines in BigQuery, ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of analyses.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and excellence
• Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and orally in French for fluid interactions with the business and teams
• Analyze situations and propose appropriate solutions while identifying areas for improvement
• Actively collaborate with team members, share knowledge and foster a collective spirit to achieve common goals
• Apply a spirit of continuous improvement to optimize practices and results

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

For this position, you will need:

• Mastery of DBT for data transformation and orchestration.
• Significant experience in data modeling and implementation of semantic layers with Looker/LookML
• Knowledge of machine learning and Agentic
• Experience with the Google suite.
