Machinist

Experience an extraordinary and unique adventure within a large industrial group, with the agility and autonomy of an SME. Contract type: Local; Fixed-term contract. Your role: The Machinist participates in the launch/start-up of a 5-axis machining center by managing production programs (tooling preparation, CNC programs, machining). As a Machinist, your responsibilities will be as follows*: Preparation of machining operations: - Perform tests, adjust spindle settings and tooling according to the different axes at the start of the shift. - Respect the choice of cutting tools and the change frequency to produce the desired part according to the standards for each program. Execution of machining operations: - Execute and monitor the machining program according to the standards for each program. - Deburr machined parts according to the standards for each program. - Ensure and verify the conformity of machined parts/burrs before proceeding with the manufacturing flow. Maintenance and upkeep: - Perform and ensure first-level maintenance of the machining equipment at the start of each shift. - Alert the line manager/maintenance department in case of machine malfunction. - Participate in resolving technical/mechanical problems with the machine. - Ensure the conformity of equipment (handling equipment, machine, tools, tooling, measuring instruments, etc.). Documentation and communication: - Adhere to the manufacturing schedule and the batch composition box standard (KANBAN). - Propose continuous improvement strategies to optimize the machining process. - Carry out all tasks within the scope of their duties or as requested by the line manager. Organization and Safety: - Ensure tidiness/5S at the workstation and in the tool storage area. - Ensure the proper use of handling/lifting equipment. *Non-exhaustive list. Required Skills and Knowledge: A background in Production Engineering / Computerized Mechanics or Machining. A maximum of 3 years of experience in a similar position; experience in aeronautics will be required. Autonomy in operating machinery. Desired Candidate Profile

Candidates should have a background in Production Engineering/Computerized Mechanical Engineering or Machining and a maximum of 3 years' experience in a similar role; experience in the aeronautics industry is required. The ability to operate machinery independently is essential.
