Roles & Responsibilities

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Consultant in Automation and Business Intelligence (BI) responsible for maintaining and evolving a set of Excel tools used daily by business teams for performance monitoring and reporting. Your missions: Maintain and evolve multi-user Excel tools consolidating data from multiple source systems. Automate end-to-end processing chains (data loading, transformation, and restitution) using VBA and Power Query. Design dashboards and summaries to facilitate decision-making. Gather user needs, clarify them, and translate them into concrete solutions. Control data quality to ensure reporting reliability. Support tool adoption: training, support, and continuous improvement. Test and validate developments.

Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA development.
• Good knowledge of Power Query.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into efficient and adapted automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and user needs gathering skills.

Appreciated Skills

• Experience in data visualization, particularly with Python and/or advanced chart development in Excel.
• Experience in AI-assisted development and the use of tools such as Microsoft Copilot or equivalent solutions.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and their integration into business solutions.
• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
