Reporting to the STEELWORKS PRODUCTION MANAGER, you will be responsible for all activities related to ensuring efficient monitoring of the CCM process, guaranteeing smooth communication between the main CCM control room, the LF, and the EAF, in coordination with the CCM supervisor.
In this role, your missions will be:
• Ensure efficient monitoring of the CCM process by guaranteeing smooth communication between the main CCM control room, the LF, and the EAF, in coordination with the CCM supervisor, while strictly adhering to occupational health and safety (OHS), quality, environmental, and energy requirements;
Responsibilities
• Comply with and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy (QHSEE) rules;
• Ensure machine availability on time while following up on issues reported to the CCM team;
• Ensure compliant production under the best safety and quality conditions;
• Reduce CCM machine downtime;
• Coordinate with all departments (EAF, LF, Pourers, Maintenance, Warehouse, Laboratory, Quality);
• Identify machine malfunctions and propose corrective actions
• Ensure the recording of production data according to the CCM production report (Superheating card, Casting chemical analysis, etc.);
• Minimize and optimize scrap (Billet crops, Ladle returns, Tundish residue);
• Reduce defects detected in billet products in coordination with the post-quality inspector and the CCM Production supervisor;
• Resolve process and production problems daily for your shift;
• Guarantee that production complies with the manufacturing order and the requested specifications;
• Alert and inform your supervisor of any major problems impacting product quality;
• Comply with quality and safety standards;
• Report all machine anomalies at the end of each shift;
• Be capable of mastering risk analysis and eliminating them while respecting shared safety rules;
• Ensure a good level of cleanliness in the entire work area, including outdoor spaces;
• Collect, minimize, and eliminate waste in an ecologically sound manner.
Required profile :
• Minimum of a specialized technician diploma in automation, electromechanics, or process engineering.
• Knowledge in automation, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems;
• Knowledge in metallurgy / steel industry;
• Knowledge in office software.
• Knowledge of integrated management systems (ISO 9001/45001/14001/50001).Behavioral Competencies
