Scope
Successful candidates will utilize their proven track record in sales to identify, qualify, establish and maintain profitable business relationships. They will sell global solutions logistics services to large-sized (“battleship”) companies in the automotive, e-commerce, chemical, life science, consumer products and retail industries.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to sell to all accounts engaging with the customer and the network to develop strong relationships within multi-regional chemical, life science/health care, consumer products and retail companies not currently conducting business with PSA BDP.
- Partnering with RFQ’s and tenders both internally and externally to ensure a tailored pricing and service offering to the customer.
- Actively plan, executive the strategic, define the strategic approach and value proposition to continuously improve, innovate and drive the customer experience.
- Achieve given budget and Revenue and establish long-term business relationships.
- Develop solutions unique to each company to reduce overall logistics costs, all whilst improving sales to current and new customers.
- Work closely with each region and use all available resources from the group to transfer all knowledge about potential clients.
- Maintain customer relationships throughout their contract to encourage contract renewal and/or extension, or issuance of a new RFQ.
Qualifications / Experience
- Must possess a university degree.
- 10-15 years of sales and/or account management experience in Romania within the freight forwarding industry.
- Significant experience in logistics sales, supply chain management and/or experience within multiple verticals.
- Has experience or working within a matrixed environment.
