Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and API’s
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Android projects using Kotlin, Compose for UI, Flow//Coroutines.
• Experience in professional Mobile application development, especially Android APIs and Frameworks.
• Experience building complex Android Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers; have published at least one original Android app
• Experience with Android patterns, material design, and material design backward compatibility and experience with Android SQLite database and working with hardware features(camera)
