Gold In Sun - Morocco - Casablanca

Responsibilities :-

  • Responsible for realizing Gold in Sun business objectives in the Morocco region, with primary responsibilities of delivering quarterly sales and contribution targets of the area.
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies and executional plans for the Morocco market, with penetration and growth tactics to help establish Gold in Sun market leadership and brand awareness in Morocco as well as the APAC region.
  • Identify, generate, maintain, and further develop relationships with key customers in these markets, such as owners/developers, EPCs, consultants, and other partners and stakeholders in the PV industry.
  • Monitor tender opportunities; develop, manage, and grow the pipeline of sales opportunities which would be turned into sales achievements each quarter, in different segments such as utility, commercial, and residential.
  • Maintain close relationship and communication with key customers to understand their needs in terms of technical, financial, logistic, and marketing support, and being able to influence and collaborate with HQ or regional functional teams to realize such requirements to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction while maximizing Gold in Sun business interests.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, local government-related departments, potential project investors and banks, and other key industry players besides direct customers.
  • Manage the entire sales/order process for the area, from forecasting to product availability lead times, delivery, and payment collection for all the key accounts, staying in close contact both with customers and the company’s related internal departments. Able to close deals and complete orders.
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customer benchmarking; Work closely with Marketing and Product Management teams to optimize marketing activities and product launches in the area.

Position Requirements :-

  • Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in electrical, power, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience with a similar business development or sales role, in solar or energy business.
  • Understand Morocco's PV market dynamics and industry trends; good knowledge of the current Utility market.
  • Sales management experience and capable of leading a diversified team with different cultures and in multiple locations.
  • Extensive experience in tender preparation, contract review and negotiation, account management, deal closure, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Experience in account management and development.
  • Ability to work under pressure and able to manage conflicts and ambiguities.
  • Relationships with major players: EPC, suppliers.
