Job Description

You will implement the operational capabilities of the business and support the operational elements for the market. You will coordinate route planning, system capabilities and tools management for the sales team.
How you will contribute
Business Aligned Planning
The candidate will conceptualize a capability program annually & for a 3-year period that is in alignment with the company’s Annual Plan & Strategic Plan. The candidate must clearly identify skills & capabilities that the sales function needs to develop in order to deliver Annual & Strategic Plan Goals and accordingly draw up a capability/training plan that helps the company build the right skills.
The candidate needs to be abreast of the business & keep in close touch with all relevant stakeholders.
Content Creation
The candidate will drive the creation, updation of relevant and engaging content & material in different formats (static, AV etc.) either on their own or with the help of other sales team members, consultants/agencies, content developers etc.
Content Delivery
The candidate will drive effective delivery of Content via different medium & methods – Train the Trainer, online, self learning etc.
Capability Measurement, Skill Application & Business Impact Assessment
The candidate will devise ways to test, measure & assess the team’s understanding, skill & capability levels. The candidate will also ensure application of Skills & training via projects, live usage in real world etc. And finally, the candidate will attempt to (as accurately as possible) quantify in revenue terms the impact of the Capability Program.
Tech & Digitization
The candidate will drive the adoption of new technology & digitization in field of training & capability development. The candidate will work on areas like (but not limited to ) Learning Management Systems, Online Coaching, Assessment Systems, Gamification, AI & Analytics based learning engines etc.
Multichannel & Multi-lvel
The candidate is responsible for all channels – Rural & Urban Traditional Trade, Modern Trade, Ecommerce, Away From Home and also sales roles right from frontline sellers/merchandizers to senior sales leaders.

The ideal candidate is one who
Has at least 18 months of FMCG sales and training experience. (Must Have)
Has a good command of English and fluency in English communication (Must Have)
Has worked on Route to Market/GTM projects or has worked in Route to Market/GTM roles in either the Head Office or Regional Office of an mid to large sized FMCG company (Preferred)
Has worked on Sales Strategy or Distribution Strategy (Preferred)
Has some experience in Sales Support/Trade Marketing roles (Preferred)
Has some experience in Sales Automation/Sales Tech (Good to Have)
