Your Role


The head of the Quality department (Customer Representative) is the internal representative of the customer's needs in relation to quality requirements, thus he is responsible for the selection of special characteristics, the establishment of quality objectives and related training, actions corrective and preventive, product design and development and customer portals.


He is also responsible for coordinating and supervising the application of quality systems within the company in accordance with the quality manual and customer requirements in order to meet competitiveness.


SKILLS :


• Process Manager:


          the head of the quality department is the process owner responsible for flows 0, 1 and 5 as well as the resulting results.


• Represent the client “Customer and Management Representative”.


 The head of the Quality department constitutes the internal and external representative of the customer's needs in relation to quality requirements, thus he is responsible for respecting special characteristics, establishing quality objectives, training his team, actions corrective and preventive measures and product development.


 Stop production if necessary or ensure containment to protect the customer in the event of non-compliant product. He is also called upon to stop the delivery of non-compliant products to the customer.


•           New projects


 Analyze the feasibility of manufacturing projects for a new component requested by a customer by introducing new processes through the acquisition of new equipment and quality control systems.


 Coordinate with the rest of the departments the completion of new projects within the set deadlines;


• Control of the manufacturing process


 Supervise the statistical control of the process using the sampling method;


 Supervise and control the application of established operating methods and quality systems even if the equipment used has been previously approved;


 Highlight the control criteria and present them to your team of auditors;


 Study customer complaints and act accordingly;


• Application of systems


 Control the application of the quality system established by the central quality department;


 Ensure that the working conditions and the forms to be completed as well as the validation of the tools comply with the pre-established quality system;


 Supervise the application of the system, if necessary, request the correction of the situation by the person responsible;


 Ensure that an environmental management system is established, implemented and maintained, in accordance with the requirements of this International Standard.


 Report for review, to the highest level management of the organization, the performance of the environmental management system, including recommendations for its improvement.


• Product Risk Manager (PRM).


•           Information system


 Transmit computerization needs to the Information Technology department;


 Check the adequacy of the programs designed to the needs of the department and ensure their completion on time;


•           Miscellaneous


 Ensure compliance with quality standards;


 Ensure compliance with safety standards;


Your Background


  • Bac+5 or equivalent in scientific or technical specialty, or convincing experience in the field of quality in the automotive or plastics industry.


  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive or plastics industry.


  • Good relationship with company staff;


  • Good ability to access information;


  • Sense of listening;


  • Communication;


  • Know how to coordinate activities with colleagues;


  • Conflict management;


  • Good negotiation and argumentation skills;


  • Mastery of IT tools.
