Position overview:


Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, our future Transport responsible will have as main missions to Improving and optimizing the transport cost ,Transport operations Management (price negotiation, service providers animation   Follow & improve the Logistics department KPIs.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Drafting the various transport budgets.

  • Monitor transport costs.

  • Develop transportation relationships

  • Negotiate and bargain transportation prices.

  • Maintain and update policies, handbooks and procedures as per the regulations, Company's directives, and strategy.

  • coordinate with customers, suppliers, carriers and transportation agencies.

  • Ensure a smooth customs clearance for all company’s inbound and outbound flow.

  • Monitor and analyze broker’s activities for inbound and outbound flow.

  • Develop and maintain the key performance indicators related to freight and related services.

  • Analyze and summarize the key operation metrics on weekly and monthly basis (PF , Truck utilization , Budget .)

Key skills and Qualifications:



  • Bac+5, with at least 4 years of experience within the automotive industry

  • Ability to work in a high-tempo environment and interact with team members over a wide scope of the organization.

  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics

  • Highly effective communication skills

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
