As the Director of Finance , you will serve as the property s strategic financial business leader and a key member of the Executive Committee. This role is fundamental in shaping the resort s financial direction ensuring that commercial performance, operational excellence, and guest experience are seamlessly aligned. You will champion and implement strategies that maximise return on investment while supporting the brand s service philosophy. Working in close partnership with the General Manager, ownership and senior leadership, you will bring clarity, insight and direction to all financial and business decisions, ensuring long-term sustainability and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual business plan, aligning financial strategy with brand and ownership priorities
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to drive informed, data-led decision making
  • Identify opportunities to enhance profitability, improve operational efficiency and optimise cost control
  • Ensure robust financial governance, compliance and internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risk
  • Partner with department leaders to elevate performance and contribute to an exceptional guest experience
  • Lead, develop and inspire the finance team, fostering accountability, growth and high performance
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with ownership and key stakeholders, providing clear financial guidance and insight
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency and timeliness

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • Knowledge/experience with US GAAP
  • Speak fluent French, or Arabic, as well as English
  • A proven track record managing teams
