Job requirements
Education and Experience Required:
✓ A Master's degree (Bac +4/5) in book-related fields, library science, documentation, or cultural mediation is strongly recommended;
✓ Proven experience in designing and leading cultural and mediation activities is essential;
✓ Professional experience in a media library, library, or bookstore is highly desirable;
✓ Experience in team management and leading cultural projects will be a major asset;

Skills:
• Proficiency in documentation techniques and library standards;
• Ability to supervise, lead, and unite a team around common goals;
• Ability to design, manage, and implement cultural projects related to books, reading, and cultural mediation;
• Proficiency in standard office software as well as library and media library management software;
• Proficiency in documentary research methodologies, information monitoring, and database management;
• Sound knowledge of information and communication technologies, as well as their integration into the development of services and uses in media libraries;
• Ability to develop partnerships and conduct outreach activities with diverse audiences;
• Ability to analyze activity, produce reports, and monitor indicators.
Desired Skills
• Proficiency in new information and communication technologies (ICTs) and library management software, particularly PMB;
• Excellent general knowledge and current awareness of the book, publishing, and public reading sectors in France and Morocco;
• Sound knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools of library science and document management;
• Sound knowledge of contemporary French publishing and Francophone literatures and cultures;
• Excellent command of spoken and written French is essential;
• Knowledge of Moroccan Arabic is desirable.
• Knowledge of the issues related to cultural mediation, educational action and audience development;
• Sensitivity to the evolution of digital uses and their impact on library services
