Your role

The Methods & Industrialization Technician acts as the intermediary between the design office/Customer/Internal Input Data and the workshop. They are responsible for optimizing various tasks, including all parameters: regulatory standards, quality, costs, and deadlines. They establish the instructions, technical documents, and programs necessary for the serial production of parts within the given deadlines and monitor them in the workshop. They may also participate in work organization and production optimization within a workshop.

As a Methods & Industrialization Technician H/F, your responsibilities will be as follows*:

• Analyze and understand industrial files;
• Master the design technique for parts or tooling;
• Carry out feasibility studies;
• Carry out product studies for notified orders;
• Research and develop products and processes;
• Optimize products and processes;
• Analyze problems related to manufacturing and find solutions while respecting customer requirements;
• Follow up on prototype production;
• Manage the reception of tooling, its registration, identification, periodic control, validation, and maintenance management according to procedures;
• Ensure part configuration;
• Manage project techniques;
• Participate in costing new business (quotes);
• Participate in preparations for customer audits;
• Provide technical and methodological assistance to production services and others as needed;
• Provide technical assistance to operators according to technical rules, resolving various technical issues requiring the implementation of additional means (tooling, equipment), and establish the definition of plans and sketches;
• Detect and alert the Heads of Methods & Industrialization, Methods & Industrialization Engineers, Quality, and Production of any change in the definition/configuration of manufactured parts;
• Provide technical training to production personnel.

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills and knowledge required:

• Hold a Bac +2 (2-year higher education) qualification in Industrial Equipment Maintenance or Industrial Engineering and Maintenance;
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role;
• Master essential office tools for their activity (spreadsheet, database, accounting software, etc.);
• Master CAD/CAM software, knowledge of materials and machining techniques;
• Master the French language.
