The Pedagogical Head is a senior leader responsible for the strategic vision and operational excellence of the Cambridge Section. This role combines academic leadership with administrative management to ensure high-quality teaching, national curriculum compliance, and a collaborative professional culture aligned with KGS s progressive vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a long-term vision for the Cambridge Section; contribute to school-wide strategic planning and improvement.
• Curriculum & Teaching Excellence: Ensure high-quality teaching and learning through effective curriculum design, inclusive pedagogy, and continuous teacher support.
• Staff Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage teaching staff; foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Operations & Budgeting: Oversee departmental budgets, resource allocation, and day-to-day logistics including timetabling and staff coverage.
• Examinations & Data Use: Ensure secure and compliant administration of national and international exams; analyse academic data to drive decisions.
• Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen partnerships with parents and the wider community; represent the school with professionalism and integrity

Desired Candidate Profile

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Master s degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior pedagogical leadership role.
• Thorough understanding of Cambridge curriculum and exams.
• Experience in budgeting, HR oversight, and educational data analysis.
• Fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken)
