Role Overview The Media Monitoring Executive is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and processing traditional and online media content to ensure that all relevant coverage is accurately captured and delivered according to client requirements.
The role includes scanning newspapers and magazines, verifying and uploading articles, conducting quality checks on OCR-converted content, and ensuring that media items are correctly presented on CARMA’s platforms.
Role & Responsibilities Monitor newspapers, magazines, and online websites on a regular basis, and upload relevant articles as per the client's requirements.
Rename, verify, and send the magazines and newspapers in French and Arabic to the Media Track to be converted on CARMA’s portal.
Perform quality assurance on OCR-converted articles to verify the absence of errors, including but not limited to missing articles, broken links, incorrect cropping, section names, irrelevant content, and missing profiles, and make necessary modifications before presenting the content to our clients and in our newsletter.
Scan, read, crop, and compile newspapers and magazines on BODHI, according to the media list in the region, and compile article clippings for publications that have not yet been converted to OCR.
Report errors found daily during verification to the direct manager.
Fix character issues that are reported directly into the Dragon system.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, preferably with a background in Computer Science or related fields.
One year as a Media Monitoring Executive or Media Researcher is preferred.
Great command of French, English, and Arabic, both written and verbal.
Ability to join immediately.
