About The Role

• Common Share is looking to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong proficiency in full-stack development with Go and React/Javascript (NextJS a plus), Reporting to the Head of Frontend Engineering, the Senior Frontend Engineer will serve an important foundational role in building our product as we truly go from 0-1 across our frontends.
• We have an extensive live version of the product that has enabled us to show early traction.
• You'll build products from the ground up, make important architecture decisions, and receive feedback from customers to see the direct impact you're driving.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Work closely with frontend and backend leads, heads of product and design, and the business leaders to uncover customer needs & translate them into new product features.
• Develop elegant and responsive user interfaces using the latest front-end technologies.
• Bridge the gap between UI design and product implementation.
• Manage project timelines, implementation of design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
• Maintain and improve existing code with a pride of ownership.
• Ensure web design is optimized for mobile and performance.
• Write reusable code for components and styles.

Requirements   

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and debugging production code
• Strong proficiency in Javascript and React, NextJS a plus
• Familiar with CI/CD 
• Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable, and appropriately tested code
• Proficient knowledge of browser troubleshooting, debugging practices, and techniques
• Experience with implementing the responsive web design
• User-focused: You are passionate about a great user experience and unwilling to allow product challenges to impact users negatively
• An insatiable desire to learn and grow
• Proactive, driven, and able to take initiative / work independently
