Roles & Responsibilities

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a division of the Arrow Electronics group (16,500 employees in 58 countries, with revenues exceeding $29 billion), provides IT professionals (service companies, software publishers, and integrators) with comprehensive technology solutions, combined with training and service offerings, across five main segments: servers, storage and virtualization, networking and security, infrastructure software, and cloud solutions. As part of its growth, Arrow ECS is expanding its teams and is seeking a Technical Solution Associate.

Here are the main elements of the missions:

• Analyze the technical and functional needs of clients and partners.
• Design and propose infrastructure architectures adapted to project requirements.
• Perform sizing of storage solutions (SAN/NAS), servers and networks.
• develop the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and associated architectural diagrams.
• Prepare and lead technical presentations, demonstrations and customer workshops.
• Participate in drafting responses to calls for tenders and technical consultations.
• Collaborating with sales teams to qualify opportunities and build proposals.
• Provide technical interface with manufacturers and suppliers (Dell, HPE, Huawei, NetApp, etc.).
• Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) projects when necessary.
• Train and support partners on the solutions in the Arrow ECS portfolio.
• Maintaining a high level of technical expertise through continuous technological monitoring.

Requirements

• Experience and education: Minimum Bac+3 in computer science, networks, telecommunications or equivalent field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a pre-sales, systems engineer, infrastructure engineer or technical support role.

Essential skills

• Good knowledge of IT infrastructures: servers, storage, virtualization and networks.
• SAN/NAS drive sizing mapping (capacity, IOPS, latency, RAID, replication, data protection).
• Capacity to size network infrastructures for Campus and Datacenter.
• Production of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and architectural documents.
• Good understanding of VMware, Hyper-V or equivalent technologies.
• French level: Fluent / very good level (minimum B2)
• English level: Minimum B2 - C1 preferred

Desirable skills

• My mastery of manufacturer sizing tools (Dell, HPE, Huawei, NetApp, etc.).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection solutions.
• Presales or Postsales manufacturer certifications (Huawei, Dell, HPE, NetApp) appreciated.
