Job Description

Main mission description: Pilot industrial investment projects from start to finish, from expressing the need to monitoring ROI post-commissioning, while respecting budgets, deadlines, HSE requirements, and Group standards. Pilot the site energy standard and be responsible for the energy performance strategy and the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Framing and piloting the investment portfolio (CAPEX)
• Collect and consolidate infrastructure and industrial needs during PMT reviews and prepare the investment plan for the FAC process.
• Frame projects (need, scope, assumptions, risks, expected ROI).
• Propose technical and economic trade-offs to stay within annual CAPEX envelopes.
• Pilot compliance with cost / deadline / scope commitments across the entire portfolio.
• Form and manage multidisciplinary project teams (production, engineering, maintenance, general services, quality, HSE, purchasing).
• Pilot the drafting of specifications and supplier consultation phases in conjunction with Purchasing.
• Establish comparative offer tables and feed into Supplier Selection Committees.
• Pilot the design, manufacturing, installation, qualification, and acceptance phases of equipment (preliminary, provisional, definitive).
• Ensure regulatory and HSE compliance and control of site activity.
• Monitor the warranty period in conjunction with maintenance.
• Pilot divestments when necessary.
• Systematically capitalize on feedback and disseminate best practices.
• Audit and Diagnosis: Conduct energy audits, analyze consumption (electricity, gas, fuel oil) and identify the most emitting sources.
• Decarbonization Plan: Develop and implement an action plan to reduce the carbon footprint (scope 1, 2, and 3).
• Process Optimization: Optimize industrial or building equipment to reduce energy consumption.
• Renewable Energy Management: Plan and pilot renewable energy installation projects.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Measure results via an annual carbon assessment and ensure monitoring of energy KPIs.
• Integrate STS Low Carbon objectives into calls for tenders and supplier choices.
• Contribute to automation and digitalization projects for industrial equipment.
• Ensure equipment connectivity for process data exploitation.
• Conduct benchmarks with other Group companies and ensure cross-fertilization of best HSE & Quality practices.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality and HSE instructions.
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment rules and participate in the implementation of the Environmental Management System (ISO14001).
