Position overview:


Reporting directly to the quality manager, our future Senior Quality Coordinator will be responsible for managing the manufacturing quality to ensure the expected quality in the process & the customer interface to proactively ensure the requirements are understood and applied. Promote CI culture & propose ideas with value-added, and ensure reporting of quality results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Define the Quality resources necessary to carry out Quality activities.

  • Manage the team of coordinators, engineers, technicians, and Quality controllers while ensuring their training and skills development.

  • Ensure the implementation and improvement of the quality management system and the control plan in the production area under his responsibility.

  • Ensure coordination between representatives of the different functions of the quality department (Manufacturing, system, lab, SQA, APQP) to conduct quality activities and eliminate roadblocks.

  • Ensure monitoring, reporting, and improvement of internal and external quality indicators.

  • Ensure control of internal deviations: support risk analyses, validate alternative processes and the reinforced control plan, and ensure the required approvals from customers.

  • Validate action plans for anomalies and defects detected internally

  • Validate 8D reports related to customer claims and monitor their submission to customers within the required deadlines.

  • Ensure the planning and execution of product and process audits and the associated action plans.

  • Support production and engineering teams in analyzing causes and establishing action plans.

  • Ensure adherence to Lear global and internal procedures and customer specifications.

  • Support Continuous Improvement activities.

Key skills and Qualifications:



  • Bac+5, with at least 5 years of experience within the automotive Industry.

  • Knowledge of Quality Management systems IATF 16949 (standards).

  • Good knowledge of problem-solving tools: ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5WHY, PARETO…

  • Good knowledge of Quality Core-tools: Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP…

  • Good skills in Team Management.

  • Ability to work in a high-tempo environment and interact with team members over a wide scope of the organization.

  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
