The position is based in Casablanca in our Moroccan Affiliate and reports directly to the General Manager.


The Position



In this role, you will lead the entire Insulin and Rare Blood Disorders (RBD) Business Unit with a full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility, you will also lead the development and implementation of local sales and marketing strategies, tactics and policies across the patient journey.



You will carry out the following tasks:



  • Lead affiliate portfolio development and impact through strategic market planning, portfolio transformation, integration of Unified Marketing Communications (UMC) strategy, market research programs, field force activities, competitor analysis, and new product marketing plans.

  • Lead the development of people, competencies, and organizational effectiveness within the Business Unit (BU) by providing leadership, implementing development initiatives, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with company values and goals.

  • Orchestrate the alignment of the BU and supporting functions to drive optimal supply chain practices, strategic direction, stakeholder management, and cross-functional launch implementation, ensuring consistency with corporate guidelines and objectives.

  • Drive a positive brand image through strategic development of field force KPIs, national business plans, networks, resource allocation, budget management, and adherence to ethical and policy guidelines.                                                                

Qualifications



To succeed in this role, you need to have:



  • Life Sciences, business or Marketing graduate or equivalent. Advanced Marketing/Business qualification is desirable

  • 10+ years with sales and marketing experience in pharma company, with 5-10 years leadership experience

  • Strong business acumen with a track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets with entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization, and to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve outstanding results

  • Strong interpersonal skills - developing and maintaining professional relationships with a variety of partners



  • Assertive with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to influence senior leaders

  • Good command of French and English, both written & spoken.

About the department



At our office based in Casablanca-Morocco, we are medium size company, all supporting our affiliate with issues related to People & Organization, MAPA, Marketing, Sales, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, IT and Legal. Our role is to support the affiliates in rolling out and executing on Marketing related activities as well as representing the area to the wider Novo Nordisk organisation.
