Perform business partnering to the General Manager and Increase shareholder value through effective leadership and strict compliance. Develop a strong Finance team in Saudi Arabia through effective coaching and training.
• CFO , responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of Finance functions
• Work closely with FP&A / Controllers team to understand various reporting / compliance requirements and ensure that the requirements are compiled
• Issue monthly financial report to the shareholders, and provide weekly updates on monthly performance versus forecast including update on risks and opportunities
• Obtain approval from UTC Treasury / CSA board for banking facilities
• Comply with all covenants agreed with banks for various financing requirements
• Negotiate with the banks and obtain the best rates for various financing requirements
• Ensure that cash position is monitored regularly to ensure that excess cash generates return and borrowing is kept at minimum
• Conduct annual review of customer credit limits and ensure that they are modified to reflect the current market / customer financial conditions.
• Approve credit limit for new customers
• Ensure that client assets / business risks are protected with adequate insurance coverage
• Analyze backlog on a monthly basis to ensure that they are current and reflect the true position of future financial performance
Accounting and controls
• Ensure that accounting is done as per USGAAP / IFRS / Local accounting standards
• Review and sign off the reconciliations and ensure that there are no old outstanding item
• Conduct periodic stock counts and circulate the results to the concerned for corrective action if needed
• Ensure that statutory audit is completed on time and dividend is distributed in line with policies
• Sign payment checks as per signatory matrix
Compliance and Governance
• Comply with all Saudi regulat
MUST SPEAK FLUENT ARABIC
Recognised accounting qualification
Ideally have Fortune 500 experience and have been in a strategic planning role with team management responsibility and experience of partnering with a GM
