Your main tasks will be:

• Support development and implementation of regional category specific strategies
• Identify and recommend ´best in class´ suppliers and maintain good relationships
• Prepare and lead strategic supplier negotiation with regional, sub-regional (Iberia) and local (Portugal) suppliers
• Contribute to global category sourcing strategies and initiatives.
• Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of regional frame contracts
• Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business
• Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers
• Integrate Procurement services at regional level for the business colleagues (divisions)
• Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
• Close collaboration with purchasing department to optimize purchases.

Your profile should look like:

• Relevant university degree (Bachelor) and/or equivalent experience
• More than 3 years of relevant procurement experience (indirect preferably)
• Project management and supplier management experience preferred
• Fluent English (conversational Spanish is nice to have)
• Good negotiation skill, ability to manage suppliers and key stakeholders
• Knowledge of contract management and risk management
