CSR is a globally integrated team with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds including communications, consulting, government, and law.
Our function advises firm leadership on risks across the lifecycle of our client engagements, including client selection, management of work scope, and changes in operational circumstances. You can learn more about the firm’s risk framework and policies at this link.
This role reports to the Director of Client Service Risk, EEMA and will be based out of our Nairobi or Casablanca office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of the CSR team, you
will work as part of the firm’s global Client Service Risk function (CSR),
which advises McKinsey’s Partners and the Client Service Risk Committee (CSRC –
a committee of respected Senior Partners and firm functions professionals that
advises on the most complex risks) on how the Firm can best serve its clients
while managing the risks involved, specifically risks around equity-based
arrangements, alliances, acquisitions, and client-facing collaborations.
In
this role you will triage requests for risk advice, providing initial guidance
and involving the appropriate risk colleague based on sector, geography, and
risk topic. You
will compile input needed to support the resolution of risk cases across all
tiers (including high-risk cases) while working closely with those leading on
the case. You will also coordinate and assist with the
development of knowledge-management and risk-awareness initiatives, including
collaborating on strategy development and execution
You
will be responsible for strengthening CSR’s knowledge-management initiatives
and contribute to evolving our systems and resources (e.g., knowledge development,
database and workflow tools, codified best practices, templates and other
resources). Additionally,
you will help ensure robust CSR data integrity and leading creation of
insightful CSR reporting and updates for firm leadership and other key stakeholder
groups. This will include working to enhance the overall risk registration
process and tracking and reporting compliance within this process. You
will also contribute to or lead special projects and risk initiatives,
including enhancements to the end-to-end risk registration process, risk
strategy and other CSR operations efforts.
