The core task of the IT Coworker is to ensure uninterrupted and efficient service be provided to the users and coworkers.
- Ensure all IKEA IT applications / IKEA Business Tools in the store functioning well
- Support IKEA coworker’s application like Navision , SMGF, DOMS, POS, PTAG,etc related issues.
- Interact with business super users and get feed back/ requirements to improve application performance.
- Maintain and Monitor all application tools.
- Monitor daily backups of Application and SQL Databases. Troubleshooting and making sure to check if any failure of backups.
- Monitoring and registering all the application related support for audit purposes in Support/ Helpdesk.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine monitoring to include creation and follow-up of applications
- Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues, as well as prioritize issues according to business needs, and know when and how to escalate an issue in the support chain
- Documentation of all process and procedure.
- Preparing business case for proposed solutions.
Skills
- Upto 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- IT Related Bachelor Degree or computer diploma / certificate.
- Communication skills should be very clear in both written and spoken.
- Strong identification with the IKEA culture and values
- High interest in home furnishings, people´s life at home and the IKEA range
- Understand Computers ,Network and Hardware fundamentals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Operational and procedural knowledge of Navision, DOMS,SMGF and Ecommerce
- Understanding of User experience and User Journey.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting different IKEA Business Tools
- Experience of working in a customer-focused service industry
- Up to date knowledge of market trends on different applications which support IKEA Business.
- Able to handle simultaneous issues during peak times and capabilities to resolve them on time.
