• Develop a digital health strategy across Neuro Psych and movement disorders, including external partnerships that ensure that AbbVie’s success in these areas is substantially impacted, leading to potential alternative endpoint registration as well as implementation of novel technologies and advanced analytics to generate insights into patient populations and mechanisms/combinations.
• Establish and implement multi-modal precision medicine strategies to support the advancement of novel therapeutics in the neuroscience therapeutic area, leveraging expertise in digital health to ensure its implementation and continued innovation across the Neuroscience portfolio.
• Lead the efforts to develop the strategic plans within the precision medicine neuroscience for:  digital/wearable measures; functional brain measurements.  This includes identifying the best options that can practically be implemented in clinical trials, working with other precision medicine leads to educate/support and be the go-to expert when needed.
• Identifies, develops and champions initiatives ensuring AbbVie is on the forefront of knowledge and understanding of relative technologies/approaches associated with expertise (e.g., digital/wearable measures; functional brain measurements; or fluid biomarkers).
• Responsible for effectively presenting scientific concepts and results to diverse scientific and non-scientific leaders.

•Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field with 20 years or more of related work: Master's Degree in Science or related field or PharmD with 18 years of related work;  PhD in Science or related field with 12 years of related work experience

•Proven ability to innovate with a history of successful new or improved product releases

•Ability to advise discipline experts and leaders within the function on how to manage their particular risks

•Interacts well with diverse groups and maintains a strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators

•Listens and understands others' point of views and articulates tactfully and respectfully one's own perspective orally, in writing, and in presentations

•Interpersonal skills capable of negotiating and reconciling interdisciplinary differences, optimizing overall business goals
