Job Description



We are seeking to hire a dedicated, organized, and efficient “Manager General Ledger & Tax -North Africa” to join our team in this role, you will work closely to coordinate and complete position tasks as the following:
Missions:
- Management of Overall General Ledger, fixed assets, inventory and tax topics for Morocco & Tunisia
- Accurate and timely Month end closing, Quarterly internal reporting, in addition to year end reporting as per IFRS & internal guidelines as well as local GAAP
- Ensure coordination with internal and external auditors for all relevant topics with proper follow up on corrective actions
- Ensure Finance team accurate and audit proof access management and data security compliance
- Continuous improvement of processes in cooperation with central teams and local teams
- Implementation of automation and optimization projects within the area of responsibility
- Stakeholder management (auditors, local authorities i.e. central banks, internal business partners)
- Leadership of General Ledger/tax team to enable a motivated, skilled and high performing team

- Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Manage strict reporting deadlines
- Complex tax environment
Tasks and duties:
- Management of Overall General Ledger, fixed assets, and tax topics for Morocco & Tunisia
- Responsible for Financial planning & budgeting
- Responsible for accuracy and timely Month end closing, Quarterly internal reporting, in addition to year end reporting as per IFRS & internal guidelines as well as local GAAP
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as local regulations via adequate controls and follow up
- Ensure full compliance to tax regulations and timely tax declaration submission
- Internal and external stakeholder management ( Local authorities, auditors, service providers, business units…)
- Ensure end to end expense claim process is accurately and timely followed up on as per local and internal policies
- Ensure bank reconciliation is conducted in a timely and accurate manner
- Project management for areas in scope in North Africa Region as per identified need
- KPI follow up & reporting with the team for internal follow up and process optimization
- Coordination of data security topics and audit for Finance team North Africa region
- Archiving coordination to ensure adherence to local regulations and internal policies
- Continuous review and update of local procedures and user guides of areas within scope

Qualifications



Education and Experience:
• Min 8 years experience in Accounting/Reporting, of which 4 years managing a team
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in ERPs and automation
• Good SAP knowledge
• Good analytical skills
