About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President Sales Africa, the Country Manager is responsible for driving growth and achieving commercial objectives in the sales channels at country level by building strong business and organizational foundations for long term business.

The incumbent of this position will lead, direct, plan and manage Morocco Ortho, GP, and iTero sales teams to achieve profitable long-term growth in line with company’s vision, strategic objectives and values. The Country Manager also has direct responsibility for resolving sales related operational issues for each specific channel. Additionally, the incumbent analyses the business across the country to identify strategic growth opportunities and makes investment cases to the VP to ensure right allocation of resources, forge new partnerships and drive the business forward.

In this role, you will…

  • Formulate and Execute Vision and Strategies:
    • Articulate a clear vision and generates enthusiasm and commitment to the vision.
    • Create and implement short and long-term strategies and plans to achieve strategic financial and critical organizational goals. This involves identifying/developing new business opportunities such as strategic partnerships, leveraging technology etc.
    • Build global and regional network, working through dotted lines reports and influencing across the region.
    • Work collaboratively with other functional leaders and business unit leaders on strategy and execution of company goals for this specific channel.
    • Drive long term sales deployment and strategy in Morocco Sales Organization
  • Develop and Integrate Organizational and Talent Capabilities:
    • Build effective organization design (people/process/structure) to support the vision, integrating the plans and programs of diverse functions into one effective business plan.
    • Through strong cross functional team management deliver the best results for Morocco leveraging regional and global capabilities.
    • Build and maintain strong collaborative internal relationships across key cross-functional business units. Ensure business leadership is involved and educated on the sales strategy and regularly meets with internal stakeholders to provide updates/status on account status.
    • Continually drives integration among country sales teams.

  • Creates Value for Customers:
    • Translate insights from marketplace into value creating opportunities.
    • Accomplish results by providing strategy and direction for major functional areas, making sure teams and processes are working focused on the customer.
    • Build and maintain strong customer/consumer relationships and with other key internal /external stakeholders to attain business results.
    • Provide governance of overall Sales Channels within Morocco organization and execution, accountable for its successful operation.

  • Be responsible for Company Goals:
    • Meet Morocco Sales P&L delivery (pricing, revenue management and opex management), working with functional leaders to guarantee that Morocco organization delivers sustainable business performance in short and long term.
    • Balance short-term results and long-term business building (moves easily from the here and now and 3 years out).
    • Lead diverse groups of people directly and indirectly to accomplish results.
    • Identify the proper metrics and indicators to be measured indicating both functions are timely delivering on the customers’ and company’s needs.
    • Utilize metrics, internal/external environmental and business intelligence to provide early identification of new business opportunities and to drive plans for increased market share, coverage and penetration
    • Be a member of the Global Sales Leadership Team leveraging and sharing effective strategies and best practices to ensure Morocco financials are met.
    • Develop people managers to provide the proper coaching and career development to salesforce.
    • Conduct on-going internal stakeholder meetings and seek on-going customer feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Partner with other Country sales leaders across EMEA.

    In this role, you’ll need …

    • Minimum of 15 years work experience in relevant roles within sales and/or marketing management of healthcare, capital equipment, consumer goods or related technology products.
    • Work experience in a medical device/healthcare business is desirable.
    • Project management experience with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment is desirable.
    • BS/BA or related experience, preferably in healthcare technology or business-related field. MBA is desirable.
    • Advanced English, Arabic, French skills is desirable.
    • Be able to build and foster successful relationships with both external and internal customers.
    • Proven track record of leading activities related to establishing and growing a business, through influence.
    • Pragmatically dealing with tough trade-offs and strategic issues facing a business.
    • Experience in leading the business strategy for success of one or more businesses.
    • Experience managing change through influencing without authority in multi-functional organizations.
    • Strong influencing skills to bring together diverse views and leading teams to accomplish tough challenges with successful outcomes.
    • Strategic thinking to anticipate issues, trends, and connections, and to translate those insights into actionable ideas.
    • Strong analytical skills relative to financial modelling;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Show motivational leadership and be detailed oriented
    • Strategic thinking, creativity, willingness to try something new
    • Ability to solve a variety of challenging problems
