Kalmar is now seeking a highly qualified Dealer Manager to join our team. This position is open to candidates based in
Morocco, South Africa, Spain or Dubai. If you are looking to contribute to a global organization, we want to hear from you!
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the relationship between the business and our authorized dealers, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and adherence to procedures by both parties. Approximately one-third of your time will involve traveling to foster and maintain these key partnerships across various regions.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of dealer network strategy & route-to-market within the respective market. Identification & assessment of potential dealers
- Dealer appointment & on-boarding according to the TPS process
- Responsible for reaching sales and dealer satisfaction targets within the dealer network
- Close collaboration with dealers to drive the business development and assure they are provided with right support and training
- Ensure a coherent approach to dealer management within the market area according to company policies & global processes and support colleagues in market area with the process
- Responsible for implementing dealer performance management within the market area
- Ensure efficient dealer communication within the respective market area together with sales and marketing
- Actively join the development of Kalmar global dealer management as representative of the respective market area. Share local best practices on dealer management globally
- Forecasting, budgeting, monitor and drive sales as well as the performance of dealers
- Oversee quarterly activity reporting of dealers/ agents
- Ensure all proof of documentations required for payment submission are in order
- Work closely with country manager and service operation manager to ensure fulfillment of duties by dealers/ agents.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education
- Degree holder in business or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dealer/ contracting management
- Well verse in the business environment of Indian sub-continent, Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong IT literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills
- Attentive to details, creative thinking, self- motivated with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French will be considered an asset
- An independent self-starter with passion to learn and accept new challenges in a fast- paced environment
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across different functional teams for program implementation
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and preserve integrity of sensitive information and data.
