POSITION SUMMARY
The Trade & E-commerce Performance Specialist is responsible for analyzing performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to boost performance in the trade and E-Commerce Department.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRADE & E-COMMERCE PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST
Performance Analysis - Analyze sales, trade, and e-commerce performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to senior management.
- Monitor KPIs across both departments and track the success of implemented strategies.
Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with both trade and e-commerce teams to design and implement action plans based on performance insights.
- Provide recommendations to improve sales processes, product assortment, customer experience, and online conversion rates.
- Align marketing campaigns with trade objectives to optimize performance and drive customer acquisition.
Problem-Solving & Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within trade and e-commerce operations and propose solutions to address them.
- Act as a problem-solver by developing initiatives that enhance process efficiency, product positioning, and customer engagement.
- Optimize digital channels to increase traffic, sales, and overall customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure the smooth execution of performance initiatives.
- Align internal communications to ensure that performance improvement strategies are well understood and adopted by the teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage advanced analytics tools to evaluate performance and predict future trends.
- Use insights to propose data-driven decisions that enhance trade promotions, pricing strategies, and E-Commerce initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
Master’s degree in quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Applied Analytics, Operations Research, Business Management, Economics, or Finance 1 to 3 years working experience in a performance analysis role within e-commerce or retail industry. Experience working with performance management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Experimentations tools, CRM systems). A strong ability to interpret data, create actionable insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and revenue growth. Proven track record of optimizing trade and e-commerce performance through data-driven strategies.
