About The Role
The Spa Coordinator is the hub of the entire operation. Spa Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Spa and fitness, must at all times display professionalism and is required to have consistently positive attitude, knowledge of all facets of the operation and attention to detail. Given the integral nature of the position, the Coordinator’s demeanor must be reflective at all times and of the highest standards exemplified by Four Seasons, also serving as an example and leader to the team.
About You
- Exceptional proficiency in all Spa related tasks/responsibilities which will include answering phones, booking appointments, checking guests in and out of the facility and completing all shift reports and paperwork.
- Scheduling of spa team to ensure efficiency in labor cost as well as meeting client’s demand
- Daily communication to all Spa Team regarding daily/upcoming events through use of daily briefings, pass-on logs, memos, or any other means necessary.
- Will be involved in and responsible for the training of all new Receptionists according to the requirements of the Spa and People & Culture
- Supporting the Receptionist, Attendant and Therapist Training Manual with departmental trainers, procedures and new hire testing on a quarterly basis to reflect updates in procedures and tasks.
- Continual re-training of the spa receptionist, spa therapist and spa attendant.
- Perform weekly standards testing on receptionist and therapist.
- Monitoring team performance and assisting with information gathering for performance reviews.
- Implementing new procedures for the team in order to improve productivity and service delivery.
- Proactively working with the spa manager to ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet business demands, smooth running of the operation and maintain an open line of communication between the therapist team and the desk staff.
Who You Are
- Previous spa/retail management or supervisory experience required (1+ years).
- Preferred experience in a luxury resort preferred.
- Ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
- Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening/overnight shifts.
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
- Strong computer skills.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Frensh language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that is friendly and helpful in disposition.
- Creates motivating and positive work environment.
