Job Description
A CMC analytical development technical expert with biologics background that will independently investigate, identify, develop and optimize new methods/ techniques to address critical project needs. Continuously seek to improve existing monoclonal antibody and antibody drug conjugate, ADC laboratory methods and processes. Read and adapt literature to accomplish assignments. Demonstrate mastery of broad range of antibody and ADC experimental techniques and methods of data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Independently design, execute and interpret critical experiments to answer scientific questions. Understand the broad objectives of the project as well as their role in achieving those objectives, and modify experimental plan when required, to respond.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in analytical characterization methods for monoclonal antibodies and ADC’s such as SEC,RP and IEX UPLC/HPLC, CE-SDS, iCIEF and UV spectrophotometer and support the establishment and development of these methods. Act as a resource or mentor for others.
- Set and meet experimental timelines and effectively organize and present scientific plans and data.
- Support the process characterization activities including sample management, testing and data analysis.
- Responsible for efficiently processing and visualizing analytical data to facilitate project team decisions, with special attention to trends and correlations.
- Support reference standard qualification and specification setting activities
- Autonomous and productive in overseeing, the development and troubleshooting activities at Contract Testing Labs and/or Contract Research Organizations.
- Maintain laboratory notebook, record keeping, and laboratory safety guidelines.
- Routinely read and apply relevant scientific literature. Contribute to writing and conceptual framework of publications, presentations, and patents.
Qualifications
•BS or equivalent education with typically 7 or more years of experience or MS or equivalent education with typically 5 or more years of experience.
•Demonstrated ability to independently design, execute and interpret critical experiments to answer scientific questions.
•Demonstrated ability to learn, understand and master new experimental techniques.
•Ability to multitask and work within timelines.
•Demonstrated scientific writing skills and strong verbal communication skills.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
