Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and control the Engineering Changes with zero impact on additional costs (airfreight/ line stoppages/ materials shortages/ obsoletes …)
- Launches of new production lines with efficiencies exceeding 100%.
- Ensure the correct administration and closing of tooling/equipment purchase orders to support prototype phases, pilots, engineering changes, and/or production improvements.
- Communicate, distribute, and implement the “Best Practices” & “Lessons Learned” for each new release and/or engineering change.
- 100% compliance with shipments of prototype and pre-launch phases for new programs and/or new model years
- Effective leadership and coordination of weekly follow-up meetings with the multidisciplinary team
- Involvement in the company's cost reduction programs as well as continuous improvement projects
- Support plant multidisciplinary teams in identifying and solving problems.
- Ensure that all planning activities of the multidisciplinary team are carried out in a timely manner, according to the engineering change management controls.
- 100% compliance with the procedures of the Engineering department.
- Support and help the team in the accomplishment of their tasks and the development of projects for which they are responsible.
Key skills and Qualifications:
- Engineer Degree (Bac + 5).
- At least 5 years’ experience in the wiring industry.
- Capacity of analysis, communication, and leadership skills.
- To have great analytical skills, to be creative/ innovative, to be persistent and open to criticism and others’ ideas.
- Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
