The Role of Hostess



We currently have an opportunity for a Hostess to join our Four Seasons Hotel Rabat, Kasr Al Bahr team in Morocco!
Reporting into the Assistant Restaurant Manager, The Hostess is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.
Responsibilities will include set up of the hostess stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table. Open the restaurant for business at the prescribed time each shift. Inspect the cleanliness of each section of the dining room and the private dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set. Pick up the daily menus and insert them properly in their covers. Inspect every menu and list to ensure their condition and appearance. Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for the day. Assign seating taking into account service standards.

Our Ideal Hostess candidate will have:



One to two years’ previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet. College education or equivalent experience: Previous employment experience in a similar position with other luxury Hotels will be an added advantage; Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

Fluency in French, Arabic and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Morocco.
