Position Overview:

The Compliance and Privacy Champion will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Foundever adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standards related to compliance and privacy. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and privacy regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data protection laws, and best practices in privacy management.


Key Responsibilities:


Compliance Tasks:

1. Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure organizational compliance.

2. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.

3. Training and Education: Conduct regular training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics and best practices.

4. Internal Audits: Perform periodic compliance audits to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to policies.

5. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks within the organization.

6. Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.

7. Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.


Privacy Tasks

1. **Privacy Policies**: Develop, implement, and manage privacy policies and procedures to ensure data protection and compliance with privacy laws.

2. Data Protection: Oversee data protection strategies, including data encryption, access controls, and data anonymization.

3. Privacy Impact Assessments: Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for new projects, systems, and processes.

4. Training and Awareness: Provide privacy training and awareness programs to employees to foster a culture of data protection.

5. Data Subject Rights: Manage and respond to data subject requests, including access, correction, and deletion requests.

6. Breach Response: Develop and manage data breach response plans, including notification procedures and remediation efforts.

7. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance with privacy regulations and report on privacy metrics to senior management.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) and/or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance and/or privacy roles.

- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proficiency in using compliance and privacy management software/tools.
