The position of Country Human Resources, Morocco reports functionally to the Global EDS HR Director and hierarchically to the Operations Director, EDS Africa, ME, Turkey & Portugal, a subsidiary of APTIV , an American multinational operating in the automotive industry. In this position you will provide the Operations Director and direct reports with strategic advice and counsel on key HR items and decisions, including collaborating on employee training programs, workforce planning, internal staffing, contractor outsourcing, and external hiring


Your role


  • Establish Morocco’s people strategy and execute goals and objectives for HR functions in line with overall objectives of EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems).
  • Areas include organizational and leadership development, employee retention and recruitment, compensation, and employee relations
  • Ensure uniformity of and adherence to HR policies across the region / function 
  • Effectively liaise between EDS HR and the business leaders 
  • Ensure corporate HR key initiatives are implemented effectively and HR KPIs effectively communicated 
  • Maintain up-to-date manpower plan that details employment needs and priorities in line with business plans
  • Advise business leaders on talent management; succession planning, staffing strategies, individual development plan, career discussion, etc.
  • Drive country HR employee satisfaction and support the EDS overall workforce satisfaction in region
  • Support regional and functional org leaders with managing and improving employee engagement and satisfaction
     

Your background


  • 10+ years HR leadership experience, ideally within a multinational manufacturing organisation
  • Strong experience working in a fast paced global environment
  • Ability to lead and influence at local and global levels
  • Bachelors or Masters in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in English, other language skills a plus (we are a multinational, multilingual business)
