Your Profile:

• Level of studies: Master's degree in finance, accounting fields or similar.

• Experience: 1 year & a half of experience in similar area. 

• Languages: Fluent in English. (Good knowledge in accounting and finance)

SAP VAT Specialist

In this position you will be at the crossroads between (indirect) tax (VAT), business (sales / procurement / logistics) and technology (SAP). There is an increasingly tax landscape by giving you the chance to develop and ensure the correct VAT set-up for and the compliant documentation of the Yazaki group’s European business.

You will be involved in the VAT compliance work which requires a complete understanding of what an end-to-end VAT compliance should look like to secure the right integration and control of the various flows in SAP.

You will be part of the Group Tax Department and will be involved in the advice of the operational business and local finance teams on supply chain structuring and other transactions that may arise.

Responsibilities:

• Creating / develop correct set-up’s in the SAP systems together with IT and the business with respect to VAT (compliance).


• Provide ideas to further increase and secure the correctness of the VAT data and compliance in the SAP system.


• Leading and supporting the Yazaki entities during ongoing tax audits for providing required documents, tracking the actual status, having the overview and create tools to monitor.


• Collaborating with the Group VAT Manager – Europe (based in Romania) on indirect tax technical aspects of tax planning projects, such as mergers & acquisitions or group restructuring initiatives.


• Close exchange with the accounting function, the business units and the internal control function.
