Job description:
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business.
They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Operations supervision and Management
Develop and execute sales strategies,
Tourist Product Development:
Supplier Management: Negotiate contracts, and ensure quality standards with local suppliers (hotels, transportation, attractions).
Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
Manage operations and finances of business
Recruit and train new hires on business practices
Drive development of employees
Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 3+ preferably in a DMC or tour operating company.
Management and Customer Service experience Strong administrative skills
Demonstrated ability to lead
Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills
Skills:
Strong leadership.
Excellent communication, /negotiation, skills.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
