- Evaluate applications holistically, providing detailed feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and educational pathways to offer tailored advice to students.
- Collaborate with academic departments to align candidate profiles with program requirements and expectations.
- Manage and update the admissions database, ensuring accurate tracking of candidate interactions and statuses.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants from various backgrounds.
- Provide support during campus tours and open house events, answering questions and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and educational organizations to enhance recruitment efforts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Fluency in English, Arabic and French is required; additional language skills are a significant advantage in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- Experience in admissions counseling ideally with a minimum of 1 year in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse students and families on a personal level.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and databases to manage candidate information efficiently.
- A proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and effectively promoting educational programs.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
