1. Studies & Preparation

 • Perform civil engineering layout studies for technical buildings, foundations, chambers and junction boxes.

• Define and optimize routes for trenches and cable ducts / PEHD and associated civil works.

• Prepare execution drawings, cross-sections, reinforcement details and civil work method statements.

• Validate GC–signaling consistency (layout constraints, track clearance, regulatory distances).

• Support topographic surveys, site inspections and field recognitions.

• Contribute to preparation of WMS, ITP and checklists for civil activities. 

2. Works Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise works related to trenches, excavation, backfilling and PEHD / ducts installation.

• Supervise execution of foundations and concrete works for signals, cabinets, gantries, portals and equipment.

• Supervise construction of technical buildings and associated VRD (access, drainage, small civil works).

• Check implementation, formwork, reinforcement and concrete quality on site.

• Coordinate civil subcontractors in terms of productivity, quality and schedule.

• Ensure daily monitoring of progress and anticipate risks and blocking points.

3. Quality, Compliance & EHS

• Apply Zero Deviation and EHS rules on all GC activities.

• Perform inspections and visual tests (VT) on trenches, chambers, foundations and buildings.

• Identify and raise non-conformities (NCR) and follow-up their corrective actions and closure.

• Apply and respect applicable standards and references: CCTP , IG SNCF , EN 1090, ISO 1461, ONCF civil standards.

• Ensure that all quality records, ITPs, WMS and civil documentation are properly maintained.

4. Technical Interface

• Coordinate GC activities with signaling installation (cables, cabinets, signals, track equipment).

• Coordinate with track, catenary and power supply teams to avoid conflicts and reworks.

• Escalate and help resolve technical blocking points between GC and other disciplines.

• Provide technical support and clarifications to site installation teams.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare civil works progress reports and site notes.

• Provide inspection reports, concrete test reports and GC acceptance reports.

• Maintain and update GC As-Built drawings and documentation.

• Contribute to handover documentation towards Installation and T&C teams. 

Performance measurements

▪ OTD (On Time Delivery) for site activities

▪ Quality, EHS, RSA (Railway Safety Agencies): monitoring, anticipation and reporting on progress and issues 

Educational Requirements



Mandatory: ▪ Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.



Experience



Mandatory: ▪ Proven experience in civil works for railway or major infrastructure projects. ▪ Experience in excavation, trenching, concrete foundations and buildings. ▪ Experience in planning and monitoring civil works on site.
