The main goal of this position is to ensure the successful design, development, validation, and delivery of complex technical sub-systems. This involves ensuring that each sub-system meets the strictest performance, quality, and reliability requirements, while staying within deadlines and budgets. You will be responsible for the technical integrity of the solutions developed, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from the initial idea to production and post-launch support. Your role will also be to drive innovation within the technical teams, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to continuously improve our processes and products.

As a Sub System Technical Leader, your responsibilities will be varied and strategic. You will be responsible for defining and communicating the technical vision of the sub-systems, ensuring their alignment with the overall project and company objectives. You will lead and coordinate the activities of the engineering teams responsible for developing these sub-systems, providing technical expertise and clear leadership. Managing technical risks, identifying dependencies, and implementing mitigation plans will also be central to your missions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, prototyping, and testing phases, ensuring that quality standards are met and expected performance is achieved. Close collaboration with other departments, such as project management, production, and marketing, will be essential to ensure smooth integration of sub-systems into the overall final product. You will actively participate in reviewing technical architectures and validating design choices, while maintaining constant technological watch.

To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with a Master's degree (Bac +5) or higher. Ideally, your academic background will focus on specializations such as Project Management, Engineering Studies, or Research and Development (R&D). This higher education should have provided you with a solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles, as well as project management and innovation methodologies.

Significant experience is required for this position. We expect candidates to have professional experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in similar technical or project management roles. This experience should have been gained in complex environments, ideally in the services sector or a related field. In-depth knowledge of product development cycles and proven experience in leading technical projects will be major assets.

Beyond your education and experience, several key skills will enable you to succeed. Excellent command of project management methodologies is essential, complemented by a solid understanding of software and/or hardware development cycles. Your technical leadership will allow you to guide and motivate teams, while your analytical and problem-solving skills will help you overcome complex technical challenges. Excellent communication, both written and oral, is crucial for effective interaction with various stakeholders. A strong ability to work in a team and foster a positive collaborative environment is also expected. Knowledge of version control tools, continuous integration environments, and technical validation processes will be highly appreciated.
