Mission context:
As part of a transformation and strong growth phase for the Bouygues Telecom network, the proposed position consists of conducting detailed IP B.e.B engineering studies, from collection to the network core.
The scope of the studies covers all collection loops as well as the various cores of the Bouygues Telecom network, including fixed, mobile, business services, administration, information systems, peering, and interconnections with other operators.
In this context, you will be responsible for writing the engineering documents related to the deployment and configuration of IP equipment, and then supporting projects until their final delivery.
More specifically, on the core perimeter, you will also need to master the optical and fiber architectures supporting these networks, particularly the core, super-core, interconnections, and peering.
Required profile :
Training and experience:
- You have a Master 2 degree from an engineering school with over 9 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical skills:
Mastery of Optics and WDM:
- Mastery of WDM Optical Technologies (passive and active).
- Knowledge and mastery of Nokia and Ciena supplier technologies.
- Ability to carry out a detailed study on various Optical loops.
- Ability to write a WDM needs specification based on current architecture rules (LLD/HLD).
Technical support for engineering teams:
- Technical support for engineering teams (architecture, tools, and databases).
Project monitoring:
- Monitoring of launched projects and reporting on progress.
IP skills:
- Knowledge of IP equipment (Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco).
- Basic IP knowledge (Unicast IPv4/v6, Multicast, Quality of Service, ToIP...).
- Knowledge of Networks (LAN, WAN, IP/MPLS).
- Knowledge of Routing Protocols (BGP, IS-IS, Segment Routing).
- Knowledge of public VPN (IPSEC) and Operator (L2VPN and L3VPN) solutions.
- Knowledge of the deployment environment:
- Knowledge of the fiber optic deployment environment.
