Join our dynamic team within a leading company in the agri-food sector. As a Crop Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the group's production policy and optimizing the use of your farm through effective management of the work team and production.
Your main missions will be:
1. Implementing the Campaign Plan:
- Propose the investments required for the preservation of the farm's assets.
- Propose investments aimed at increasing productivity.
- Provide opinions on the results of cultivated species/varieties.
- Execute land preparations according to established procedures.
- Carry out plantations within the planned deadlines and under the best conditions.
2. Operational Farm Management:
- Comply with existing production procedures.
- Define labor needs.
- Organize work sites and ensure their efficiency.
- Supervise fertigation programs.
- Ensure phytosanitary applications in compliance with current authorizations.
- Follow integrated pest management rules.
- Control production costs and explain variations compared to objectives.
- Propose technical solutions.
- Implement the Human Resources policy.
- Ensure adequate maintenance of premises, facilities, and equipment through the maintenance department.
- Manage the farm's input supply (fertilizers, plant protection products, various materials).
3. Supplying the Packaging Station:
- Follow the production forecasting methodology.
- Supervise production forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with harvesting instructions.
- Coordinate harvests and reception at the station.
4. Team Management:
- Ensure the application of HR procedures regarding bonuses and salaries.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with employees, colleagues, and superiors.
- Anticipate and manage staff conflicts with the support of the HR department.
- Regularly evaluate your employees.
- Identify your team's training needs.
Required profile :
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum education level of a Bac +2 (equivalent to a two-year college degree) in agriculture.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 to 10 years of professional experience in similar roles, with a strong knowledge of soilless tomato cultivation techniques.
